Profile:
I started karate in RAF Bruggen in Germany in September 1994 as a result of being asked to set up a Karate club at the station. Sensei was Peter Brokers (7th Dan) who ran a club in Mhunchengladbach, and to which the club at Bruggen was affiliated. I left Germany in December 1995 as a 5th Kyu and joined St. Neots in April 1996.
I am a serving officer in the RAF and am currently Commandant Air Cadets at RAF Cranwell. I am also Chairman of Joint Services Martial Arts Association and President of the RAF Martial Arts Association. My other sporting interests are skiing and sub-aqua diving, and I have been involved in diving expeditions to the Falklands, St. Helena, the Red Sea, Ascension Island and New Zeland.
