Profile:
I started training in 1979 at TASK Bedford and stopped training in 1987
due to the need to travel extensively for work. I returned a couple of
times for short periods but could not commit long term.
I initially took up training to learn how to defend myself, but this
interest quickly developed into self improvement.
I am now married with two teenage daughters and live and train in St
Neots. I work in financial services so training is a good physical
outlet for me, getting me away from the car and sitting at a desk.
I commenced training again in 2000 at St Neots club with CFTS as a 3rd
Kyu. I graded to Nidan in 2010 performing Nijushiho a kata I really
enjoy.
St Neots is a wonderful club with excellent Instructors to learn from.
My hope for the future is to be able to give back to Karate and the club
what it has given to me. A great deal of enjoyment and friendship with
others.
